This project we used a product called Roll Top to change the color of the existing stamped concrete.

Skip Trowel With Stain

This patio we had to grind first, then applied the skip trowel overlay with stain. Some projects may require grinding. Slick concrete typically found under covered patios would need a profile before coating. Most projects just require pressure washing.

Grind, Stain, and Seal

We removed the existing stain with the grinder, then applied a new coat with solvent based acrylic sealer.

Skip Trowel Topcoat

Here is a skip trowel texture with acrylic topcoat and cut pattern.
Similar to the knockdown system, just different texture. Has a heat reflective topcoat.

Skip Trowel With Stain

Here is a skip trowel finish with 2 colors of stain and a cut pattern. The stain in this one is Umber and Gray Slate. Then sealed with solvent based acrylic with slip resistant broadcast.

Knockdown With Cut Pattern

Here is a knockdown texture with cut pattern to incorporate the cracks. This particular deck also had the coping colored and we used a heat reflective topcoat vs. the standard acrylic topcoat. Very popular in East County as it is much cooler than the standard topcoat. Typically 10 degrees or better.
